They should pay particular attention to the links provided on how to keep the ne'er-do-wells out of their databases. If they got pwned by anon, those kids aren't too bright and used script kiddie tools to get in. Forum is back to normal.Should have realized something was up last evening when I went in there and saw the fonts were in my default (which usually comes up when a site is slow to load) as opposed to the normal deal. If you're the admin of the website, just grab your web blogs, note the time of the attack and then forward it over to the FBI's IC3 (Internet Crimes Complaint Center). They're gonna take it from there.A gaming site I ran awhile back got hacked by some hacker group (way before the anonymous movement). Luckily we had witnesses on our Teamspeak server at the time of the attack. They hijacked the server first, then went after the site. We got caught the guy who did it since he left a major trail of evidence behind and we then turned him in. As long as you have some sort of records available then you're good to go. If your server got wiped, then contact your web hosting provider for the info. |
