I don't know if they've arrived yet, but we left room for them on Track 53, which is the third track from the Stengel building. I believe that's where the last R-142A to visit Corona Yard was parked. |

Does the Manhattan-bound train also say "FLUSHING LCL"?I realize that "Flushing" is both a destination and a line description, but "FLUSHING LCL" sounds like a Flushing-bound designation. |

There will be an order of cars to be inserted into some of the existing 5 car units. The set up of a #7 train will be a 5 car link and a 6 car link. These cars will be the R142's currently assigned to Westchester yard. There will be an equipment swap between Corona & Westchester. |

The T/O may have to change signs on a put-in, but to compensate, they may pay Conductors again to join in on the put-ins, and give Pelham Bay Park platform personnel for sign changing. The five-car units will still have their full-width cabs. No idea on what they'll do with the single cars. It's possible they could link some of them and give them full-width cabs. |

They're going to link the 5's with the 5's to make 10, and then run sets of 10 singles. So there's a 50/50 chance of getting a train with halfcabs throughout.Oh, now that I think of it, the R62's are gonna still have the green circle/red diamond LEDs installed, so the only rollsign changing will be Parkchester vs PBP. |
