Speaking of DVARP, here's their dual-mode dream page from way back in 1998. The DVARP head guy is most definitely all about the ALP-45DP in spite of its costs; and I don't think that they envisioned a catenary dual-mode to have been three times the cost of a regular locomotive back then. |
