The Freeman St service was express on 2 Av and at that time all IRT services were local in the Bronx with the exception of the 3 Av Thru Expresses which were express all the way to Tremont. After the 2 Av El was demolished some 3 Av Expresses took over the Freeman St service until 1946 when Freeman St El service was discontinued. |
