Lindsay only oversaw the final chapter in a long, sad process of cutback and neglect aimed at undercutting support for unwanted structures. Only the Franklin Ave. shuttle was saved from eventual doom.Even the measly 4-car trains could handle the crowds better than the Bx55. |
