I don't know much about the track layout at De Kalb before its reconstruction, but I remember that when the Culver-IND connection was opened (first the (F), then the (D), then again the (F)), there was still some Culver service for a few years from Ditmas to Chambers St. weekdays and 36th St. nights and weekends. I've heard that before the reconstruction, it was possible for a Brighton train to use the bypass.Bob |
