Back around 1962 or so, there was a newspaper article entitled " Progress In Reverse" it was taken at 168th Street [?] in a blizzard with 2 AB Standards, talking about how the unreliable R16's with sticking doors and frozen interiors were transferred to the mostly underground 14th Street Canarsie Line. I would be interesting to see that article / photo again. |
