How you have made such a big deal out of this I have no idea. In any event, a light hearted statement that it was often a big surprise when the doors opened to see what station you are at stands. Most of the time, whether you are outside or underground, you can watch as your train pulls into the station, and see where you are. That fact is true underground, or above ground. Back then, you didn't see it until the doors opened. |
