I had my encounter with a PAT Bully in Pittsburgh on July 2 of this year. This trend will continue as long as Homeland Security is instructing transit agencies and the general public to be on the alert for suspicious activity and to report same to the authorities. Apparently, many "patriotic citizens" are being whipped into a frenzy over the threat of terrorism and are taking matters into their own hands.No matter what good intentions these people have, it's no excuse for their conduct, and if they are employed by a transit agency, they should be reported before these encounters turn into potentially violent confrontations. |
