Well, those guards are actually MTA Collection Agents, similar to armored truck guards, employed by the MTA and handle all revenue collections from station booths and Metrocard vending machines.And yes, photography is very much legal, and to be honest you should have got a name and badge number (or employee number) and make a complaint. Or with the information you have (location, day, date, time, etc.) forward a complaint anyway, and give as much detailed info as possible. |
