I picked up a newspaper there (Arizona Republic) which referred to an earlier article about the apparently forthcoming transit cuts by correcting last year's light rail ridership figures, to 11.4 million from 11.6 million. Or was it the other way around? Either way, it gives you an idea of thr ridership.From my own limited experience, ridership seemed very solid on all the trains I rode on Saturday, and picked up significantly in late afternoon when a lot of people rode to the baseball stadium for a Diamondbacks home game. |
