Most message boards automatically convert URL's to hyperlinks. I wonder why this one doesn't.

From what I've seen, most don't, but it requires code to automatically convert the hyperlinks, and some people don't like the auto-conversion. With this message board, it's converting your text using basic html tags such as <br>. It's up to you to feed additional HTML.
