Yeah, that would have been a nice shot even without the emergency action. It would have been harder to pull off going down the road at 55 mph, chasing a train going 45-50, instead of crawling past a stopped train.Still haven't found out anything about what happened. Nothing in this morning's newspaper. Didn't catch any of the local early morning TV news shows. I drove past there this morning and there is a small crossroad a few hundred feet north of where the car ended up last night. So maybe the driver got confused or drunk, and turned onto the tracks. At the location of the crossing the ROW is wider because there's a passing siding there, and the crossing is a nice new concrete one. |
