PATH is keeping 20 PA4's for work trains. All the rest are to be sold to Kawasaki. They may rebuild them for a system in Peru, or they will be scrapped.

CTA has no use for them. They are getting more 5000's than they are 2200 and 2400's. PATH cars are 3' too long and have air brakes, which nobody in CTA is qualified on.
