I never saw evidence of there ever having been two tracks. If there ever was a second track, it had to have been removed and all traces eradicated by 1912 when my relatives moved into the neighborhood. As I remember it, the track was mostly in the center of the ROW. In some spots it shifted slightly to one side. Perhaps there were provisions for sidings, but there definitely were none between Dekalb and Palmetto. |
