Lawrence St. I used to use that station from the M train years back (when the M ran to South Brooklyn all day). I can't think of a more depressing station to wait for a train, and that after taking the Montague tunnel, on which was usually an empty train. I was miserable. I soon switched my route to getting off the M at Essex/Delancey and taking the F to Jay St-Borough Hall instead, and even though it was two trains instead of one, it was a much more pleasant commute. I HATED the Montague tunnel and Lawrence St. |
