Now those 2 2650-series Stillwells behind the E-8 really speaks Erie Mainline. They had fabric-upholstered seats (green), closed vestibules and air conditioning.Every once in a while, there would be one of those cars on the morning local to Wanaque-Midvale station on the Greenwood Lake Division, which I could see from my high school. After class, I'd rush down to Arlington Station to see it go back east in the afternoon. Lee |
