There are many additional examples of this in New York because of the size of the city, the subways, and the fact that Brooklyn and Queens have street numbering schemes that have no relation to Manhattan or The Bronx.Some more examples: 103rd Street is on the #1 and #7 lines but many miles distant from each other. 111th Street is on the J and the #7 line. 86th Street is on the #1, B/C, #4/5/6 as well as the two Brooklyn stations you noted. |
