IIRC the trip was cut short when the train developed issues at Howard Beach. That was one of the only trips that did not begin at 59th St, it began at Chambers St. The route had us go out to Metro, then back to Manhattan and up 6th Ave to W4th, then reverse and head out to Rockaway. I remember doing at least 60 MPH on the Fulton express. |
