The R33 WFs were the last non AC cars, with 9309 securing a place in history of being the last non-air conditioned car in service, as the third car on the last R33/R36 WF train, November 3, 2003. The lack of AC on the R33 WFs (and R127/134s) is while during summer R40s and R62As are sometimes used in work service. |
