No the R38's which did make their debut in Queens were delivered in 1966. They certainly looked a bit out of place on lines which had been running Arnines excusively since they were built in the 1930's. The R40's followed a year or two later. I never liked them especially the Slants with all the ugly hardware that got added on. |
