For example in 1977 the A train had its entire fleet of R10s replaced by R40 Slants and a handful of R44s-both from the E & F trains. During the same year the CC had its entire fleet of R32s replaced by R40s from the E & F trains. Then a month later the R40s were completely swapped with the R10s from the A train. |
