I didn't like the way the R32s looked when the came back from GOH. The filpdot was a mistake, especially because it's hard to tell if it's an E or an F train until the first car passes you. Now, of course, that's not a problem because both lines no longer run R32s. Those flipdot signs got dusty very easily, making it hard to see the letter from a distance.The overhead grab bars were another mistake, especially because they don't extend all the way to the doorways like they do on the other cars. So if you stand in an R32's doorway, the only thing you can hold onto is the grab bar at the end of the bench. They should have kept the metal straps on the 32s (they did on the Redbirds). |
