I agree, but it was a pointless thing which would need maintenance. Besides, the blue strip era is not one of fond memory for the system. I personally think the silver/blue paint scheme for the LAHT steel cars (except for cars older than the R15) was the best ever, but it still evokes memories of grafitti, decline and decay. |
