No, Skokie trains, the Yellow line only runs between Dempster AV and Howard ST. There has never been any plan to extend the operation past Howard. A mid point station is now planned for Oakton ST. On the north end, extending the line to Old Orchard Shopping Mall has been a dream for 40 years and the LPA for this was approved by the CTA board, but a loud contingent appeared at the next level of hearings to voice typical NIMBY objectons.David Harrison |
