The original 5000s , back in 1945 were compartment cars and they were articulated. Two sets came from St. Louis Car Company and two came from Pullman. Together they equaled an eight car CRT/CTA "L". I believe they were most like your Blue Birds, and not the R11/34.David Harrison |
