The amzing thing is that when Aqueduct Racetrack was rebuilt in the late 1950's, the demand no doubt warranted whatever expense was necessary to build a southbound platform; yet it was not done.Perhaps the #7 line tunnel would have been breached. Pics were posted here where the one wall on the southbound 42-8 platform was broken through and the #7 line tunnel was right there. Bill Newkirk |
