Your seemingly irrational notion of this 'personal safety' bit has a lot of relevance. It's overthinking the situation. If someone has a problem on on an OPTO train, and the intercom doesn't work, you do what thousands of idiots do every day. Hold a door. If the doors don't close, the train doesn't move.And there are hundreds of other potential situations that can be described where your notion of 'personal safety' has no bearing. |
