Two bleed resistors of 220Ω and 110Ω (negative and positive, respectively) in the form of a voltage divider periodically earth BOTH rails.I'd write more, but I actually managed to dig up a patent for an "apparatus [for] monitoring an earth-leakage state of a power distribution system" for DC four-rail traction systems. IINM, this seeks to address the rather large voltage fluctuations in the LU's system. Great read, and answered most of my still-unanswered technical questions. |
