Yes indeed, however, methinks the Queens span may be longer. But for whatever reason it was deemed unsuitable for the BMT to use, and so they built the 60th Street tunnel instead.I think "whatever reason" was that land in LIC was cheaper and more plentiful to build a portal and ramp than land on the Upper East Side. |
