They are also designed to flex under wind loads.I recall seeing a similar video clip of a Shinkansen (Japanese Bullet Train) crossing one the suspension bridges on that railroad. The movement of Manhattan Bridge paled in comparison. John in the sand box of Maryland's eastern shore. |
