It's that time of the year for me to again propose the simplest of solutions.Have some LIRR trains use the Lower Montauk and have the trains nap at a rebuilt Yard A via the Montauk Cutoff. Passengers can get off at a platform/s at the proposed Sunnyside Station and transfer to various subway services at Queens/Queensboro Plaza a la Flatbush Terminal. |
