Yes, there is already a large transfer back and forth at Jamaica already to and from HP Ave trains, mostly for people that need the East Side. Many West Side diesel people get OFF at Jamaica for Penn trains, and many electric people get ON HP Ave trains at Jamaica.If you are a diesel branch person bound for the west side, you are not staying on at Jamaica and going to HP Ave. And for electric people, it's easier to get to the east side if you get off at Jamaica and get a HP ave train. THAT is why it's busy at HP ave in the evening, as then the reverse is true. |
