Before the high level platform, that fence in the middle of the yard wasn't there either. The old station shed, in my other post used to be on the far right if looking at the current photo:  There was a low level platform concrete slab about where the high level platform is now, and you used to just walk across the tracks on a concrete pathway across other tracks, when the train came in in the morning. Notice there are a few concrete "platforms" even in the current photo. The trains I usually came into are the one in the middle, which is now on the "wrong" side of the fence that is there now, but has two trains along it. Those were used until 1998. |
