Big Box stores could have worked in LIC because they all have large parking lots. The is a huge customer base in eastern Queens and northern Brooklyn. But, that's a dead issue here.I'd never buy a home or condo near any industrial facility, railyards included. I even passed on buying a house on South Railroad Avenue because I didn't want the noise of the SIR. I'm a railfan, but not that much of a railfan! |
