He wanted to know, probably not totally familiar to the fact the cars ran on other lines including the "GG", if they were put into service after being taken "out of mothballs". By the way, I rode the R-10's on the "E" line 20 times, and on the "F" just only on six occasions. One of the cars that I rode on the "E" was on a Manhattan-bound run was with its lead motor #3189, which still survives today. -William A. Padron ["Queens-8th Av.Exp."] |
