At the time Chrystie opened, the area between Bway/Myrtle and Bridge St was railroad NORTH. It was only changed when the M was through to Stillwell to replace the QJ. By the way the QB was an afterthought to placate the Brighton passengers who wanted some sort of direct service to the Bway subway. Fortunately, all the equipment except for the R-9s and R-10s had QB roll signs. |
