"Instead, the station, on the No. 7 line, will be called simply Mets/Willets Point."That's ridiculous. Would that be the first time a station is named after an actual sports team? (Yankee Std doesn't count since it's named after the stadium). I say gyp everyone and call it "National Tennis Cetner" or "Walkway to Flushing Meadows Corona Park" or even "Stop Before Main Street" (Flushing side) and "Stop After Main Street" (Manhattan side). Mwahahaha |
