That's why the original name of the station was Willet's Point BLVD. -- that boulevard started there and ran all the way to the geographic feature known as Willet's Point, which is near Ft. Totten.Much of the original boulevard was overbuilt by the Whitestone Parkway (now Expressway). Avoid the confusion and rename it 126th Street. |
