And the beat goes on! This really makes me sick when I read things like this. You guys on this list already know how I feel about it, from the time that poor guy was arrested in Penn Station by Amtrak Police.However, in all fairness, I think you should have been a little more diplomatic with the officers. While you still have a good case, in my opinion, { they had no cause to hassle you in the first place } you would have come out looking better in front of a Judge if you had been a little more respectful. In a way, you helped to escalate the incident. I'm beginning to think that photographers should infact carry a copy of the regs with them. Unfortunate, but it would probably save you a lot of grief in such situations. Sad, but you'd need copies of all the regs from the transit agencies and railroads that you're photographing on. I guess photographers will have to lug around a briefcase with them. |
