You are right, suing the MTA and NYPD is the route to go, however telling a officer at the time of the incident:"I'm willing to bet your paycheck and I told him I'm not doing that and I told him, if you feel I'm in the wrong, give me a a summons and I'll see everyone in court" will get you detained and hasseled. Just apologize, comply and get the names and badge numbers like you did. And despite all of what happened to you, you said: "also, the photos were not deleted; I ended up keeping them.." The officers knew you were right, but because you were willing to bet their paycheck they decided to earn it on YOU! |
