Posted by Mac5689 on Thu Feb 12 23:01:28 2009, in response to Re: I was taken in handcuffs for photography at the Freeman St Station on the 2, posted by Ken S. on Thu Feb 12 21:46:11 2009. not unless the Judge doesn't ubderstand/heard about it. i don't think a judge will throw it out, not on the words of three police officers.anyway there is no use reporting Police Misconduct because, they will just cover it up unless there is proof. i mean it took about ten years for the SCPD to stop asking immigrants their status when reporting a crime, even though SCPD denied they did it. and that only happen because someone leaked the forms they use to Newsday, and because of that killing of an immigrant in Patchogue. SCPD officers also reclassified reports (a few that happened on the same day that the immigrant was killed in Patchogue) about crimes against immigrants to safe on the paperwork, that to came out because of the killing of an immigrant in Patchogue. i'm not even sure that those officers who did reclassified those reports, were ever disciplined for it. |
