Agreed ... but STILL ... *IF* this turns out to be true, an engineer, T/O, whatever has no business texting while pounding the road in the first place.Absolutely. The TA has a zero-tolerance policy in regards to cell phones. I won't even touch my phone while I'm operating let alone text. ... and any railfan who can't figure out "thou shalt not distract" perhaps might need the lesson. Sorry to be so hard on this ... Foamers will be very troubled by this...for about a month. Foamers tend to be a very selfish bunch. Mind you, I don't know whether or not this 15 year-old fit the description of a foamer, or was simply a railfan who made an unwise choice. |
