A/c issues on the R32, maybe the MTA catoring to the public by putting a few R46's on the E.Hehehe, I think so to, but I was referring to the design of the R-179s saying that there shouldn't be an absolute need for them to have 5-doors because of the dwell times on lines like the E. Those lines since they need more doors can just have 60' cars while the R-179s could be sent to other lines (like the R and V). they probably would've been better off just moving the R40M, R42's to the E directly and kept the R32 phase 1's on the A/C lines. It would seem easier to have done it that way. I wonder what the reasons were for doing it this way. Maybe so Jamaica could continue to maintain R-32s and not have to deal with different equipment. They do a bad enough job as is after all. :-) |
