What the heck does a Metrocard have to do with buses that it doesn't have to do with subways? Metrocards are the fare media of NYCT, and are valid on both buses and subways, among other modes. If I posted the NFL Draft Metrocard would you say it would be better in the Off-Topic forum???? That would make no sense. Since Metrocards are of a general NYCT topic, I made the choice, as I often do, to post the thread on SubChat. The reasons for this are many: the more active forum, the effective "default" transit forum on this site, and the fact that I believe there are more Metrocard collectors here at any one time than on BusChat. Furthermore, the Metrocard hobby is much more centered around the subway part of NYCT because that is where you purchase your special metrocards, and it is also where you find (pick up) the majority of the discarded cards in decent condition.It seems that you do not know much about the hobby of metrocard collecting, so I don't see where you get off claiming that what people think about this subject is wrong. |
