They can take a few of the billions being spent in Iraq and revitaliaze the whole system, and build new lines, albeit with good managment needed.There is no guarantee that NYCTA would receive any of those funds. The funds may simply not be spent in order to reduce federal deficits, or spent on other cities that have smaller systems or no systems at all. |
