The railroad didn't bother to tell ITSELF back in my day. Three trains stopped waiting for the ramp to 59 with trouble ahead, you'd see the ball drop in your face and the lineup ahead change to something else. And of course, arnines didn't have PA systems. Only clue to the pax at all was if the D train rolled in against the wall at 47/50. That was a definite clue. :) |
