CLICK HERE FOR DA RIDE----> IRT Redbirds 14 Street to Chambers (shot in 2000; a Sharp Viewcam 8mm camurrah) My Recollections: -R17s on the 1 line (1982 or so). -Storm door cracked open nb between Dyckman and 225, and I was out there unshielded for a blissful 7 minutes. -INTENTIONALLY waited for a Redbird on the 2 in the year 2000 after the R142 junkers started arriving, I'd wait around on the platform 10+ minutes just for a Redbird in Manhattan. and there's this GEM with the Birdies roaming around East 180th and moar~~!!! -WAITED AROUND TWO HOURS-PLUS at TSQ in 2003 only to hear the sole redbird set was in the yahd that day and didn't come out. -RODE A THREE-TRIPPER with Kool-D at the RFW on the 7 a coupla days before the Last Ride. |
