Yup.I just looked that the satelites. Obviously it will either have to go elevated or go subway well before it gets to Roosevelt Avenue. Elevated is cheaper, subway is prettier. Those buses ARE parked on the Rockaway ROW and on the Atlantic Connection, and there are sure a lot of them. They will have to go. There is a place where the ROW was paved over for a parking lot for a tall residential. Probably have to go under that, or build the parking lot up on stilts. Most of the NIMBYs are set well away from the ROW, but in Brooklyn they are rather close and will bitch. ROAR |
