With construction costs as they are, reading the NY Daily News article, it says that the park would be a placeholder until they can build the FTC properly and not way out of budget.What should be done as suggested is sell the air rights to a developer, have that developer build a 40-60 story residential building with 4-5 floors of retail space below the residences and in addition, rebuild the former underground mini-mall that was part of the Fulton station. |
